Books recomentations

So, do you want to start in this Stoicism thing and have no idea where to start? You are lucky! I recommend a few exciting books from beginner level to advance (yes, there are different levels)

All book links you will find on this page are Amazon-affiliated links. If you want to contribute to my work here at The solver, please, consider using these links to grab your copies. I will appreciate that.

Although this blog is English redacted, all books linked are Spanish translations because my audience is Spanish-speaking.

Starting

I think one of the best books, to begin with, is El arte de la buena vida by William B. Irvine. It is pragmatic, offering concise instructions about how a Stoic should react to day-by-day situations in any person's life.

Assimilating

Another good one might be Mi cuaderno Estoico by Massimo Pigliucci. It is a practice book that goes through many Stoicism principles proposing weekly exercises for assimilating habits and making concepts yours.

Advancing

Once you get some knowledge, you can feel free about reading the classics and other modern Stoics. Some examples of classics book might be Meditaciones by Marco Aurelio, El Enquiridión by Lucio Flavio Arriano, or Cartas a Lucilio by Séneca. Speaking about modern books, in my opinion one of the bests is Invicto by Marcos Vázquez, Cómo ser un Estoico by Massimo Pigliucci, El obstáculo es el camino by Ryan Holiday, La felicidad es el problema by Pedro Vivar, or Siempre en pie by Pepe García.
